As everyone know playing video games in the classroom usually ends up in detention, you DS revoked, and a call to your parents (who aren't very happy when they find out, although i don't know why
)
well it seems that some countries like Japan and Great Britan is using the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em' motto. they are using the DS with math based video games to get kids more interested in math.
Now, i am definately one to say that math was not one of my most liked subjects, in fact i didn't like it one bit! that being said, i feel like if i learned math off of a Nntendo DS i would enjoy it just a little bit more.
So what do you think? do you think that it is smart for schools to finally embrace video games? Do you think it will actually get kids more involved in school?
Think about it? your homework could very well be playing Nintendo DS!!
